Title: Quality Brass Catcher
Review: I’m impressed with the craftsmanship and performance of this brass catcher. I purchased cheaper ones but they don’t fit or attach very well which causes failures to eject.This product is big and wide enough not to interfere with an AR’s function. This is a must have for those reloading.

Review: Catches 12ga shells from my Remington 11-87 pretty well. Only problem is that it likes to walk down towards the muzzle. Using a little Goon tape to kelp secure it in place will make all the difference.

Title: It's The Best Caldwell Mountable Brass Catcher There Is
Review: I've tried the other two Caldwell mountable bras catchers, and they were worthless to me. Either they did not mount well because of the positioning of my optics or they caused ejection port issues. This brass catcher suffers from none of those problems. I stress tested it and it held over forty pieces 7.62 NATO brass mounted on my AR-10 and showed no signs of sagging around the ejection port. The frame held up just fine. I did have one piece of brass escape the bag. That's a big deal when you are using Lapua brass. However, one case out of perhaps a couple hundred pieces is relatively insignificant.The bag empties easily while still mounted from a zipper on the bottom of the pouch. The catcher also features a hinge so that you can swing it way from the ejection port. I don't use it. I mount my bag firmly over the forward assist for extra snug positioning.I saw no signs of the bag succumbing to heat damage from hot brass. It held brass that was hot to the touch through the bag without a problem.After going through the rest, I consider this the best. I highly recommend this bag if you want to stop having to pick up your brass of the ground. If you are using expensive brass, this is well worth the price (which is not that expensive).

Title: Does NOT fit M1 Garand as another review claims
Review: Purchased this for use on an M1 Garand in a situation where I can't easily retrieve brass thrown forward of the firing line, as the Garand tends to do. Another reviewer mentioned that it fits his son's M1, and while it's true that the net will cover the ejection port, the way this attaches cinches down against the operating rod with a rubber pad, preventing the action from opening or closing. Maybe with some modification this can be made to stand off the rifle enough to clear the op-rod, but as sold this will not work on that rifle.

Title: Great Accessory for My Ruger 1022
Review: I bought this product to eliminate the problem of spent casings being ejected at the person in the next bay when shooting at the range and to make cleanup at the home shooting station easier. It works great for both.Like most Caldwell products this one is well made and the design is well thought out. Installation took only a few moments on my Ruger 1022. The mounting straps hold the brass catcher firmly on the rifle and I have not had any problems with it moving out of position and interfering with the bolt.Ejected cases are collected nicely in the mesh bag and the zipper on the bottom makes it easy to empty the bag at the end of the shooting session.Access to the bolt to charge the rifle or clear a jam is no problem. The bag hinges forward easily giving full access to the bolt area without removing the bag. The metal wire frame provides good rigidity and has not interfered with the action of the bolt on the 1022. The catcher returns to the same position when you swing it back into the shooting position.There is no interference with the magazine so inserting and removing the magazine is unchanged.One area where there is a bit of adjustment in one's technique is the safety. The bottom of the catcher is close to the trigger guard (just above) and is slightly noticeable when you go to push the safety off. This is a pretty minor issue but may bother a few users so I wanted to mention it.I'm very satisfied with the Caldwell Brass Catcher on my Ruger 1022. I haven't attempted to use it on other rifles so I am unable to provide any info on the universal fit aspect of this product.Stay well,John
