Title: FANTASTIC!
Review: Just received the new book, and by just breezing through it I can say that his volume is fantastic! Covers everything you can think of about the characters on Discovery from both seasons. It delves into who they are in real life, the parts they play in the series, behind the scenes info and conversations with the actors. One cool feature is that if the character has a connection to any other Star Trek series, it briefly covers them too. For example: take Captain Pike. It not only covers the Anson Mount Pike but also the original Pike from TOS and the Pike from the Kelvin timeline in the movies. The same for Spock. The book also has short one page episode guides for both seasons, and is chock full of amazing pictures. This book is not encyclopedic, nor does it cover the ships or technology of Discovery, it stays focused on the characters only and the actors who play them. Perhaps in future publications the publishers can say more about the characters and episodes themselves and less about the actors who play them (the reason for four rather than five stars), and maybe something about the ships and technology. The season one volume was only 96 pages, but this new one is 176 pages. Plenty of reading to do. I'll leave future reviewers who actually have read the book to give more detailed descriptions and opinions. Overall, I am thrilled to have this second volume.

Title: Not what I expected...
Review: Mostly the book is repeat of the first two Star Trek discovery companion books. Just the taste of the second season only. And too bad itâs not a hardback like the other original two

Review: A nice collection of articles from the Star TrekMagazine, with one downside: the book is about 75% about season 1... Since there were already several season 1 guides, I was hoping for more season 2 material. A great guide nonetheless.
