Title: Storypod is a hit!
Review: I ordered the Storypod as a last-minute gift for my grandchildren's Easter basket and it turned out to be a huge hit! I was looking for something that was "not candy" and a product that is more valuable and meaningful than the typical store basket toys that have no educational value. My husband and I are both retired educators with a combined 70 years of experience in the field. We continuously look for educational toys to gift to our grandchildren. The quickstart and Storypod app was generally easy to set up (We have a very slow internet so I can assume it took longer for us to download than it should have) and the best part is the children do not have to interact with a phone or screen to enjoy the product. I was amazed at how quickly my 4 y.o. granddaughter picked up on using the speaker independently. She loved the yarn Crafties (a fox and an owl) that were included, and she plays with them while listening to the story. As educators we appreciate the important skills from listening to a story. These valuable audio literacy skills develop language and vocabulary. They also sharpen memory and listening skills. We love that the Storypod fosters their imagination and helps them learn about punctuation, expression, and enunciation. Since my husband and I are the main caregivers during the day for our grandchildren we like to sit and listen to the story together for quiet time instead of plugging into a program on TV or on a tablet. We certainly recognize the dangers of too much screen time these days. The small storybook in the package compliments the audio listening skills acquired and we used it after hearing the story several times. It will be nice when the children can read the book along with the audio and begin to recognize sight words. Overall, we feel this product is a great value and has so many important educational benefits. After doing a little more research I was pleased to see there are nursery rhyme versions of the Crafties. There is great educational value in children learning classic nursery rhymes because many language skills are acquired. Nursery rhymes develop phonetic awareness, rhythm, and letter/word patterns which are so important in learning to read and write. I look forward to purchasing the nursery rhyme Crafties next!

Title: The BEST screen-free audio player
Review: We LOVE our Storypod! And I chose it over other audio players for a couple reasons.I knew that my daughter would want to play with the crafties. I love that the content continues playing even when they are removed from the device, which isn’t the case for other leading audio players.I also love that the crafties are soft. Let’s face it, kids throw things. At least I know the crafties won’t hurt. And don’t worry about the material getting messy, they are machine washable!Storypod’s content library has books, tokens, activity cards, and trivia decks, with awesome educational and interactive content for all ages. It’s super easy for kids to use independently.The Storypod app is also great. You can use it to record personalized content on the iCraftie and stickers. You can also control playback on the device through the app. The Storypod team is always looking for feedback from users and making updates to improve the experience.I love that the starter pack on Amazon includes a colorful sleeve and a recordable sticker!

Title: Quiet Time Magic
Review: We decided to give Storypod a try after my child tried it at a friend’s house. I am so glad we got one because Storypod is awesome! It gives our kids a screen-free option to occupy them during quiet times and at bedtime. It’s easy to set up for parents and intuitive for children. It gives them the ability to independently use and choose what they want to hear. Something else I love is there are chapter books available for my 2nd grader so it is not just for littles. I can’t wait to add to our collection! This set came with a recordable tile which is great for those times where my kids miss us at bedtime. I plan on buying more for family members to record their favorite stories.Overall, I highly recommend. My 4 and 7 year old use it all the time.

Title: Perfect Screen Free Entertainment for Kids
Review: Storypod is a wonderful addition to our connection of fun, learning toys. Immediately upon opening my daughter was enamored with the little soft crafties and knew that they should be placed on the speaker. The design is clearly intuitive for parents and kids alike. Setting up the device was not only easy, it was fun. The design of the app and the audio instructions for setup were delightful. It was incredibly easy to add my husband as an additional admin/user for the Storypod, which is great because then each of us can engage with it without having to remember whose email we signed up with. The quality and content included with Craftie the Fox is enjoyed by our entire family. My daughter loves to sit next to the Storypod and make Craftie move around while the story is playing. And yes, that's another awesome design feature, the story keeps playing even if little hands grab the craftie for a snuggle.Navigating the app is very intuitive and I like that the Storypod has a white noise and nightlight feature, making it so much more than just a speaker. Having the ability to allow our family members record their voices reading stories that my daughter can play is heartwarming and she gets so excited to hear her favorite stories read by her family, even when they can't be in person with her.We're very happy with Storypod, a great way to encourage independent play and an interest in storytelling for children without them staring at a screen. We're looking forward to adding additional crafties to our collection so we can have more stories and songs, but also because they are so cute to have around. As my daughter grows we'll incorporate more of the older learning series crafties and look forward to new craftie releases.This is a wonderful product with a well thought out design that is great for any child's collection.
