Title: Limited to 3 inch; need a hack to go beyond
Review: This is an useful tool that needs no measurement to find the center line/center, which is a pain. It's limited to 3 in but a video from Microjig shows how to hack it to go beyond, using 1-2-3 block, etc. Again, all Microjig stuff charge a premium for plastic stuff.

Title: Easy and accurate
Review: I was in the middle of several projects that used Dado joints on a variety of stock thicknesses. After spending a day on one project doing “the math” and setting up my equipment and making trial cuts to fine tune, I found this on Amazon. It was delivered the next day and has significantly sped up the process of determining the 1/2 way point and then using the jig to setup my equipment for fast and accurate results.

Title: Find Half of Anything
Review: I use my router for a lot of woodworking, and setup is always the worst part of any project. When making lap joints or dadoes finding the half-height of the wood you're working with includes a little trial and error with scrap wood to find the right bit height. This simple device does that for you automatically. place one part of the jig on the top of the wood, slide the arm down, and the bottom of the jig will be at the half height; then just lock it in place. Easy peasy, no math required. The jig can do this for up to 3-inch thick material. Once the jig is locked, put it up against the router bit (or dado blade or saw blade) and set the height. This jig has eliminated a lot of setup time for me and is highly recommended. Yes, it is plastic, so no frequent dropping; it does seem rugged enough for the shop, though. This is the fifth or sixth MicroJig item I've purchased and I'm happy with them all.

Review: For three pieces of plastic, two screws, two nuts, and two magnets this isn't cheap BUT I have to concede it works well, fast and it's so simple. Put the stock under one end, lower one piece down until it touches and the other end is now set to half the thickness, whatever that is. Not just easy but convenient when your stock is not standard thickness for whatever reason - no measuring and no math.
