Title: Grief book that has great value
Review: I am a grief counselor and I would recommend this book for women who have lost their spouse in an untimely way. Confusion and the effort it takes to go forward, especially with children, is a very difficult season in life. This book and those like it help someone grieving to feel as though they are not alone. Young widows and widowers have challenges slightly different than others and anything we can read or do to help is wonderful.Buy this as a gift today or read soon if you are experiencing similar situations.

Title: it is a very good book when facing an unexpected death and when young ...
Review: I read this book 26 years ago when I was a young widow of 30. I am rereading it to give to a young women who has lost her husband to suicide, it is a very good book when facing an unexpected death and when young children are involved. Mary Jane puts her trust in God just like my friend is. God is faithful if we walk with Him and trust Him he works all for our good.

Title: but I like it a lot
Review: Haven't completed it quite yet, but I like it a lot. I lost my first husband 22 years ago when I was 45 years old. I remarried after 6 years and my second husband passed away Dec 2013. I find some of the things she talks about very familiar, and comforting in a way.Mourning is hard, no matter how old you are! I cry as I recognize the feelings of sadness she describes.

Title: Early Widow
Review: This was an excellent book, written in journal format. It allows a widow especially a young widow to discover that the feelings and emotions that you are going though are normal. Brings to light that you may have blessings that you are not aware of or others do not have. This book was the number one thing that helped me to handle my husbands death. I had just turned 31, a single parent and scared with no one to turn to. This book was better than group counseling as most of the people in group were older widows.
