Title: Can't argue with results.
Review: My review may seem a bit strange but hear me out. This was my plan: I read the entire context of the book once, then I reviewed my class notes (which made a whole lot more sense after the reading), then went through all the questions (including the online question bank) 3 times. When I took my exam I gotta say that about 1/3 of the questions were really easy, the other 2/3, well, not gonna lie, I felt clueless and felt like I was guessing a lot despite all the studying I did. I even felt like I probably failed but when I was done.... I got 90%!!!!Now I don't believe it was lucky guessing (I felt the same even when I took the X-ray ARRT exam and I also used Mosby's) so I can say that this book did indeed help. Most of my classmates felt the same and they all passed. So I definitely recommend this book because the results speak for themselves. Good luck!

Title: Cross trained and passed with an amazing score!
Review: Took the test 10/19/18 and passed with a scaled-score of 93%!I cross trained in a clinic setting for about 6 months working an average of two days a week. I took the ASRT CT course for CE credits, and never studied from it again other than taking the one practice exam they had at the end. The only other study tools from Mosby's that I used was an Introduction to Sectional Anatomy book by Michael E. Madden and Computed Tomography for Technologists: A comprehensive text by Lois E. Romans 1st edition to fill in the gaps of understanding from not being a CT student in a program.I originally tried studying the second edition and personally liked this edition more because I felt like it was more up to date on the machine (64-slice) we are currently using and the procedures associated with it. In regards to questions being wrong, I found a few test questions that were wrong, specifically a cross-sectional anatomy question and a couple others, but overall this book is very reliable.I read the Mosby's book occasionally through out my 6 months, just glancing over it. Then about 2 weeks before my test I did some hard core studying. I read the entire Mosby's book and took all of the exams. I scored between 85-95 on the practice tests and also did all of the online tests Mosby offers. I would say if you study the Mosbys book and do the practice tests you will be golden! I feel like Mosby's prepared me very well for the exam. No schooling required!

Title: Mosbys
Review: My book was damaged from the back side- and the electronic code it came with did not work, I had to call Evolve Elsevier to solve this issue for me, because the code this book came with would not grant me online access to the extras that come with the purchase of the book. Other than that being a slight issue, the book is brand new, and has no damage to the inside content. I’m assuming the back cover was damaged in shipping.

Title: The only study tool you need!
Review: I only studied this book and completed the 3 practice tests in the back. Includes everything you need to know to pass the exam successfully. Great cross sectional anatomy and the practice tests in the back are hard, which prepare you well. Read this a few times and take the tests and you will have no problem passing!!:)

Title: Know this book and the online questions and you will pass!
Review: Just passed my CT registry with a preliminary score of 93! I studied this book and all the online questions as well as a supplemental cross sectional anatomy book because I needed a bit of additional help with anatomy. If you read this book front to back, do all three tests in the back of the book, and work through every single question in the online question bank, you should pass. I was getting 80s on the book’s practice tests—they’re hard! They more than prepared me for the registry test.

Title: Good Choice
Review: I purchased this review book hoping it would help me pass the CT Registry and it did. I read the entire book, repeatedly took both the online and in book tests until I just couldn't study anymore. I HIGHLY suggest doing both online and in book practice tests.I sat for my ARRT Registry Exam January 3rd 2020. I was nervous but there I was. Then I found myself flagging almost every question and frantically asking myself (in my head of course and not outloud) where is everything I studied?!?!?!? But I quickly realized that the information WAS in my head, it just wasn't worded the same as I had studied. NONE of the practice tests questions had even been close to the same, but the information. OF COURSE NOT.......they couldn't make a book that was actually like the test itself! What this book is though is a great way to get the right information in your head so you are prepared. As long as you are not just memorizing the questions and answers, as long as you are actually studying and learning you will have the information you need to be able to pass the registry exam. Take your time and study all the areas in the book. I was hoping for a 76 (need a 75 to pass) and got an 82. I'm very satisfied with my purchase of this book.

Title: buy it
Review: Listen... I scheduled my exam for about a month out. I read through through the main chapters image production, and rad procedures ONE TIME. I had a lot of stuff going on so I stopped studying. Lo and behold I called the day before to reschedule my exam and they told me it was too late. So I stayed up all night and crammed. I read through the whole book again that night, tried to memorize as many images as I could in the procedures. I went in the next day just knowing that I was probably not going to pass but I made a freaking 75. It wasnt a great score but it was a passing score. Do with this information, what you will.
